| For LASOS Lasertechnik GmbH, the year 2010 has started with personnel changes. Dr. Jürgen Meyer was appointed general manager of LASOS Lasertechnik GmbH. effective 1 January 2010 Dr. Jürgen Meyer graduated in physics from Jena Friedrich Schiller University and acquired his doctoral degree in physical chemistry. Since the beginning of his professional career, Dr. Meyer has been dealing with optics and laser technology and worked in management functions both nationally and internationally, focusing on development, manufacturing and marketing. Dr. Meyer follows Wolfgang Emmerich as general manager. After over 40 years of work in the industry, of these more than fourteen years active as managing director of LASOS Lasertechnik GmbH, Wolfgang Emmerich will be available in a consulting capacity with effect from 1 January 2010 and be a member of the Advisory Council of the company from 1 June 2010. |
