Jena, Germany– LASOS announces the commercial release of its RLK Series red laser at record setting power levels. The platform offers both single and multi-longitudinal mode products with power levels as high as 500 mW. With typical M2 values < 1.1, products are available in collimated or fiber delivered configurations, including laboratory and OEM packages.
According to Steffen Steinberg, Ph.D., Head of Sales and Marketing at LASOS “the high power product, at 500 mW, is particularly well suited for applications such as Cytomtety, where increased power levels help to maximize the quantum yield from existing fluorochromes.” Dr. Steinberg further states “the single frequency version of this product, with a power level of 200 mW and a spectral linewidth less than 1 MHz, is seeing strong demand in applications such as Holography, Spectroscopy and Life Science Instrumentation, where ultra-stable power and wavelength performance deliver superb results.”
The compact footprint, at just 39 x 39 x 100 mm, leverages the well-established LASOS manufacturing knowhow, delivering robust, reliable and long-lived solutions. The LASOS CommanderTM allows user control of the devices via USB or RS-232, and the platform can easily be combined with other LASOS lasers in multi-wavelength light engines or beam-combined configurations.
