Your tasks:
- Development of diode-pumped solid-state lasers, laser diode modules and systems for the sciences
- Process development and programming of an automatic alignment machine (pick & place)
- Development and investigation of suitable assembly and automation processes with regard to stability, manufacturability and costs
- Transferring the developed products and assembly processes to series production in close cooperation with the production, design and electronics departments
Your qualification:
- Several years of professional experience or completed doctorate in the field of laser physics or related fields
- Completed university degree in physics, laser physics, laser and optotechnologies or comparable qualification
- Hands on skills with optical measurements and design
- Practical experience in the fields of micro-optics/micro-assembly desirable
- High degree of reliability and commitment
- Independent and persistent working style, high level of creativity and commitment
